John Lee

John Lee is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in graph learning and machine learning. At Meta, John served as a Senior Research Scientist focusing on graph learning for ads retrieval and ranking, and previously contributed core code to a PyTorch framework for sequence modeling. During an internship at Facebook, John developed a recurrent pipeline that generated person-level graph embeddings for over 1 billion users. Academic contributions include tenure as a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where John published results in top conferences, and held teaching assistant roles across various computer science courses. Summer internships at Adobe and PARC resulted in successful projects on deep learning models and graph classification, along with published papers and an approved patent. John earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science from the University of the Philippines.
