Johnathan Yan is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative applications and optimizing cloud solutions. At Meta since August 2022, Johnathan continues to enhance technical expertise after a significant tenure at Uber from August 2019 to May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a software engineer intern at Capital One, where Johnathan improved cloud migration processes and transitioned legacy systems to modern architectures. Additionally, as a research assistant at the University of Michigan, Johnathan developed an augmented reality application for Microsoft HoloLens, showcasing proficiency in technologies such as Unity, C#, and WebSockets. Johnathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and is a Stuyvesant High School alumnus.
