Kalyan Subramanian

Kalyan Subramanian is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently at Meta since July 2020, Kalyan leads the development of a networking stack for Terragraph and directs projects related to the 5G-NR RAN gNode-B software stack. Previously, Kalyan served as Software Engineering Manager and Senior Director of Engineering at Cradlepoint, focusing on novel Software Defined WAN solutions. As Director of Software Engineering at Cohere Technologies and Blue Danube Systems, Kalyan contributed to advancements in protocol stack architecture and LTE cell capacity enhancements. Kalyan’s career began at Tilera Corporation, managing the development of parallel software applications for multi-core systems. Kalyan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and was a doctoral candidate in Physics at the Raman Research Institute.
