Karina Camarillo

Karina Camarillo has a diverse background in business development and operations, beginning as a Reliant Energy Intern at Genesys Works from August 2009 to August 2010. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, attained between 2010 and 2015. Subsequent internships at Ruffalo Noel Levitz and National Instruments provided experience in fundraising and multimedia marketing, respectively. Karina's career progressed at Meta, where from August 2016 to July 2018, an Intellectual Property Operations Specialist role was undertaken, followed by a position at PRO Unlimited in Facebook Operations for Intellectual Property. Currently, as Program Manager for Regulatory & Compliance Operations at Meta since July 2018, Karina has established a team to ensure compliance with music licensing agreements and collaborates across various departments to mitigate risks and enhance operational workflows.
