Kerri MacDonald is an experienced editorial and design leader with a strong background in media and communications. At Instagram, Kerri held roles as Editorial Lead for Design, leading initiatives such as the @design channel and developing the Editorial Brand Voice, and as a Creative Producer, collaborating on global design projects. Currently, Kerri serves as Editorial Lead for Threads, overseeing editorial channels and community engagement since the app's launch in 2023. Previously, Kerri was the first Social Photo Editor at The New York Times and held various editorial positions, including Asia Photo Editor and Producer for the Lens photography blog.
