Kevin Liang is a research scientist with experience at both Meta and Duke University. At Meta, Kevin contributed to Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) focusing on egocentric computer vision and 3D perception, and also worked in Facebook AI Applied Research (FAIAR) in the area of computer vision. Kevin completed a PhD at Duke University with a research focus on deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, continual learning, and generative models. Previous internships include roles at Facebook, Infinia ML, and Google, where Kevin worked on projects related to ads ranking, information theory in deep learning trends, and video understanding for Google Cloud AI. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University.
