Keyang Zhang

Keyang Zhang is a skilled software engineer specializing in machine learning, currently employed at Meta since August 2022, focusing on large language models for integrity and safety in Instagram Reels recommendation. Prior to this role, Keyang worked at Twitch as an applied scientist from January 2020 to August 2022, where machine learning solutions for safety were developed. Keyang also contributed to the same efforts at Amazon during the same period. Earlier experience includes serving as a data science team lead and data scientist II at Ultimate Software from February 2018 to January 2020 and as a senior data scientist at GE for a brief stint in late 2017. Keyang holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of San Francisco (2016-2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington (2012-2016).
