Kunming Ho has extensive experience in software engineering and development, particularly in the semiconductor industry. Beginning a career as a Software Engineer at Avant! from 1998 to 2000, Kunming transitioned to Novas Software as a Principal Engineer, where a software platform was developed to assist chip designers in identifying circuit defects. From 2005 to 2009, Kunming served as a Sr. Member of Consulting Staff at Cadence Design Systems, focusing on low power design tools for integrated circuits. Following this, a tenure as a Principal R&D Engineer at Synopsys Inc. from 2009 to 2019 involved leadership in projects aimed at low power device design and power consumption estimation. Currently, since October 2019, Kunming has been a Software Engineer at Meta, leading the tech development for the PyTorch MTIA backend, including AI model enablement and production tooling. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University.
