Lei Xiao

Lei Xiao is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science, having served as an AI Research Science Manager at Meta from August 2017 to February 2022. Prior to this role, Lei held the position of Research Scientist at the University of British Columbia from September 2012 to April 2017, while also working as a PhD Research Assistant during the same period. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Visiting Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in late 2016 and as a Research Intern at Adobe Research in mid-2015. Lei earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia between September 2012 and April 2017.
