Leo Ding has extensive experience in software and data engineering, having held key positions at notable companies such as Marvell Semiconductor, Qualcomm, Insight Data Science, LinkedIn, and Meta. At Marvell Semiconductor, Leo led a team in wireless baseband projects and developed a groundbreaking performance analyzer/debugger tool. At Qualcomm, Leo predicted cellular connectivity and optimized GPU performance for Snapdragon models. During the fellowship at Insight Data Science, Leo built a high-throughput data pipeline for Reddit post recommendations. At LinkedIn, Leo developed complex media processing pipelines and services to enhance user experience. Currently, at Meta, Leo serves as a Senior Software Engineer and team lead for an ad personalization system, working on machine learning model training and inference pipelines. Leo holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.
