Lingchuan Meng is a software engineer currently working at Meta since February 2024. Previously, Lingchuan served as a principal ML engineer at Amazon Lab126 from May 2022 to February 2024, focusing on leading software research and engineering efforts in edge machine learning for computer vision, automatic speech recognition, natural language processing, and large language models. Prior to that, Lingchuan was a principal software engineer at Arm from September 2017 to May 2022, specializing in neural network model optimizations and the development of deep learning frameworks. From January 2016 to September 2017, Lingchuan was a senior research engineer at Qualcomm, contributing to projects related to deep learning model compression and quantization. Earlier experience includes a research and teaching assistant role at Drexel University from September 2008 to August 2015, involved in the SPIRAL project for automatic library generation. Lingchuan holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Drexel University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology.
