Macrina Dieffenbach, Ph.D., is a Staff UX Researcher at Meta, where responsibilities include leading cross-organizational research for priority products related to safety and wellbeing. Previously, Macrina served as a Research Manager at OpenMind Platform, focusing on product efficacy and improvement recommendations, and held roles as a Research Scientist and Content Strategist, developing user interview protocols and conducting statistical analyses. Experience also includes consulting at the UCLA Graduate Writing Center, research at the Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, and contributions to projects with the United States Department of Defense and Facebook. Macrina holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and Social Neuroscience from UCLA, as well as a B.A. in Cognitive Science from Yale University.
