Madhu Ramanathan is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management across several top technology companies. Madhu began with a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before progressing to Amazon.com as a Software Development Engineer intern, later advancing at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer and Engineer II. At Facebook, Madhu held various roles, including Engineering Manager for Workplace and Marketplace Searches, leading teams to enhance search capabilities and contributing significantly to eCommerce revenue. Currently, Madhu serves as a Senior Engineering Leader, Trust & Safety at Meta, following a tenure as Principal Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where leadership encompassed engineering teams focused on content moderation and user safety for a platform with over 1 billion users. Madhu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Anna University.
