Mahi Luthra

Mahi Luthra, PhD, is a research scientist at Meta, specializing in building audio generation models, including speech and music, utilizing large language models and diffusion architectures. Previous experience includes a machine learning internship at Facebook and roles as an associate instructor at Indiana University Bloomington, where Mahi taught courses in research methodology, statistics, and the intersection of cognitive science with robotics and computing. Mahi also interned at Open Spaces Consulting, conducting studies on organizational behaviors, and participated as a team member for the UN Young Changemakers Conclave. Mahi completed a PhD in Cognitive Science at Indiana University Bloomington from 2017 to 2022.
