Manal Houri

Manal Houri, PhD, currently serves as Director of Tech | People Development at Meta, a position held since May 2023, following a tenure as Director of Tech & Data | Learning & Development at the same company from January 2018 to April 2023. At Meta, Manal Houri has been instrumental in developing tech-enabled learning experiences and fostering collaboration across teams. Prior roles include Portfolio Manager at Ericsson, where Manal led the strategy for next-generation learning services, and various positions in Learning Services focusing on technical training and competency development. Manal also has experience in academia as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Southern Methodist University and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the same institution, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lebanese American University.
