Mehdi H.

Mehdi H. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as an Engineering Lead at Meta since September 2025, Mehdi previously held the position of Data and AI GTM Lead at Amazon and was the VP of Data & AI at Allegro. Prior roles include Head of Data Science at Marks and Spencer and Director of Data Science and Product at GroupM, where Mehdi managed a global team of data professionals. Earlier in the career, Mehdi was a Lead Data Scientist at Sky, contributing to multiple machine learning products, and a Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge, focused on AI research projects. Mehdi's foundational experience includes roles at Microsoft and software engineering positions at Iranian Offshore Oil Company and Zagros. Academic credentials include a PhD in Machine Learning from UCL and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Sharif University of Technology.
