Meng Peng

Meng Peng, PhD, is a seasoned Product Design Engineer with a focus on virtual reality devices at Meta since 2021, following a role as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Microsoft specializing in Surface foldable devices. Previous experience includes product development for accessories and audio products at Apple, as well as leadership in R&D at Philips, where Meng Peng managed technical roadmaps and innovation strategies for power toothbrushes. Early work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee involved research in rotordynamics and structural health monitoring. Meng Peng holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, along with certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management Foundation from Philips.
