Michael Buttman

Michael Buttman is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on nuclear and power generation technologies. Michael served as a Nuclear Power Plant Technician with the US Navy from 1990 to 1996, followed by a role as a Field Service Engineer at Checkpoint Systems. Contributions at Ciena included development and maintenance of automated test software as an Associate Test Engineer. Michael transitioned to the power sector, working as a Power Generation Specialist at Duke Energy Corporation and later as an Operation and Maintenance Technician III at Calpine, where responsibilities included operation of combined cycle plants.
