Min Ren is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in high-speed optical system design and optoelectronic device validation. Ren has held significant roles at Inphi Corporation, where achievements include the development of the first 500G optical communication system, and at Facebook, currently serving as Module Lead for Depth Hardware at Oculus. With a solid foundation in research gained from East China Normal University, Ren completed a Ph.D. focused on laser ranging and photon-counting technology. Additional expertise includes innovative developments in photodetectors at the University of Virginia, including the invention of a patented avalanche photodiode, and leadership in Lidar architecture and hardware integration at Continental. Ren holds dual degrees in Physics and Optics/Optical Sciences from East China Normal University.
