Mindy Hoover

Mindy Hoover is an experienced UX researcher with a robust background in human-computer interaction and engineering. With a PhD from Iowa State University, Mindy worked as a Research Assistant at the Virtual Reality Applications Center, collaborating with industry leaders like Boeing and John Deere to develop AR/VR applications. Current roles include serving as a UX Researcher at Meta and previously as a User Experience Researcher at Google, where Mindy conducted impactful studies on user perceptions of ads and optimized advertising usability. Additional experiences include internships in human factors engineering at Boeing and research portfolio management at Design Interactive, Inc., showcasing a commitment to advancing XR technologies and user experience research methodologies.
