Neham Jain is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on active surveillance and real-time wildfire reconstruction under Professor Ioannis Gkioulekas. Previously, Neham held positions as a Machine Learning Intern at Subex, where information extraction from unstructured invoices was performed using advanced language models and object detection frameworks. During an internship at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Neham analyzed online crowdsourcing platforms under Professor Swanand Deodhar. An Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Neham also served as a Research Intern at Adobe, contributing to the explainability of Vision Language Models in recommender systems, with work accepted for WWW'24 and resulting in a patent filing. As a Research Engineer at Meta, Neham is involved in building data pipelines for training foundation models. Neham holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
