Nelson Antunes

Nelson Antunes possesses a diverse background in machine learning and data science, with experience spanning several companies in the technology and energy sectors. Nelson began as a Data Scientist Intern at Sony Electronics, focusing on computer vision and machine learning for medical imaging. Subsequent roles included a Machine Learning Engineer position at infomaniak, where efforts centered on developing and deploying machine learning models for computer vision and document classification. Nelson further advanced skills in machine learning at Swisscom, concentrating on multi-task learning and optimization in Recommender Systems, and at TotalEnergies, where responsibilities included developing secure and high-performance machine learning products for the commodity trading sector. Currently, Nelson works as a Machine Learning & AI Engineer at Meta. Education was completed at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
