Neuton Li

Physical Scientist

Neuton Li is an experienced researcher and educator in the field of physics, currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at The Australian National University, with a focus on Meta-Optical Surfaces. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the KOALA Conference, Treasurer for The Optical Society (OSA) ANU Student Chapter, and Research Scientist Intern at Meta, specializing in AR Display Optics. Neuton has also gained substantial practical experience through positions as a Vacation Student at various institutions, including the University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, and CSIRO, covering topics such as Stimulated Brillouin Scattering, Mathematical Biology, and Astronomy and Space Science. In addition to academic tutoring at Trinity College and the Australian National University, Neuton served as Student Chapter President for Optica, further demonstrating leadership in scholarly activities. Neuton holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics and a Master of Science in Physics, both from the University of Melbourne.
