Nihaar Shah

Nihaar Shah has extensive experience in computer vision and machine learning, starting as a Computer Vision Software Engineer at MLB Advanced Media, L.P., where contributions included player tracking and camera calibration. Following that, Nihaar served as a Research Scientist at GE Research, focusing on Deep Learning for wave energy modeling and leading projects involving reinforcement learning. Nihaar's background also includes internships and roles in various labs at GE, contributing to advancements in blade inspection, scrap analytics, and LiDAR-based robotics. Further experience includes a software internship at the Oxford Robotics Institute and current work as a Research Engineer at Meta, specializing in EMG and neural interfaces. Nihaar holds a Master’s in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from Columbia University.
