Nikhil Apte

Nikhil Apte is an accomplished engineer with a robust background in MEMS design and development, holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Nikhil's extensive experience includes roles as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Tata Motors, a Research Assistant at Stanford University focusing on advanced capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducers (CMUTs), and positions at companies such as Butterfly Network, Inc., and TDK InvenSense, where Nikhil made significant contributions to MEMS ultrasonic devices and sensors. At SiTime, Nikhil improved the performance and reliability of MEMS resonators, and currently serves as a Research Scientist - Sensors at Meta. Nikhil's educational achievements include an MS with a GPA of 3.98 and a BS with a rank of 2 out of approximately 1000 students from the University of Mumbai.
