Nitin Gupta

Nitin Gupta is currently the VP and Head of Engineering at Whatsapp, which is owned by Meta. Nitin has over 17 years of experience in the engineering industry. Prior to joining Whatsapp, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Riverbed Technology for 12 years. Nitin also worked at Yahoo! for about a year and a half as a software engineer.

Nitin Gupta received a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and a MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University.

They are on a team with Abhijit Bose - Head of India, WhatsApp, Ami Vora - VP, Product & Design - WhatsApp. Their manager is Will Cathcart, Head of WhatsApp.
