Oguzhan Akcin

Oguzhan Akcin is a Research Scientist at Meta since July 2025, with previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2021 to June 2025. Oguzhan Akcin also completed a Software Engineer Internship at Meta in the summer of 2024 and held positions as a Deep Learning Intern at intenseye and as an intern at P.I. Works, Inc. and IBM in 2019. Academically, Oguzhan Akcin is pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, having previously earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
