Om Kelkar

Om Kelkar is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both firmware and full-stack development, having worked at notable companies including Rand McNally, Microsoft, Meta, and Sandia National Laboratories. During an internship at Rand McNally, Om developed a GPS data parser in C. At Microsoft, Om contributed to the Applications Group, while also performing software engineering research at Sandia National Laboratories, where an interface was created between a fluid solver and Python machine learning scripts. Om continued to develop expertise in distributed tracing and context propagation at Meta before advancing to a senior software engineer role focused on turning AI/ML models into queryable services. Additionally, Om has a strong background in education, serving as a teaching assistant and student supervisor at Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering.
