Onyi Lam

Onyi Lam is a highly experienced machine learning engineer and data science leader with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models across various domains. Currently at Meta, Onyi focuses on Click to Message Ads Ranking Optimization. Previous roles include Senior Data Science Manager at Capital One, where Onyi managed a team of data scientists and improved machine learning inference pipelines, and Principal Data Scientist at Mission Lane, where Onyi developed a fraud payment risk model that significantly reduced losses. Onyi's expertise also encompasses leading teams and projects at organizations such as FiscalNote and Pew Research Center, focusing on natural language processing and transfer learning.
