Palak Sheth

Palak Sheth has extensive experience in public policy and legal affairs, having held positions such as Head of Privacy Policy at Instagram for a brief period in March 2022 and currently serving as the Director of Privacy and Data Policy for both Instagram and Threads at Meta since August 2024. Prior roles include Managing Director of the Affirmative Litigation Task Force at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office from February 2014 to December 2018 and various leadership roles at the American Constitution Society from January 2013 to January 2014. In addition to co-founding Post March Salon in January 2017, Palak has a background in media as a Media Broadcasting Assistant at Starcom MediaVest Group. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Economics and Asian Studies from the University of Michigan and a JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
