Paul Chung is an experienced researcher and educator in the fields of sociology and demography. Chung taught courses such as Introduction to Demography/Population Analysis at the University of California, Berkeley, from September 2011 to March 2019 while obtaining a PhD in Sociology and Demography. Since April 2019, Chung has been serving as a Research Scientist in Demography and Survey Science at Meta. Previous roles include positions at The Shift Project as a researcher, at Public Rights Project as a consulting data scientist, and at Code for America as a consulting researcher.
