Paul Chung

Paul Chung is an experienced researcher and educator in the fields of sociology and demography. Chung taught courses such as Introduction to Demography/Population Analysis at the University of California, Berkeley, from September 2011 to March 2019 while obtaining a PhD in Sociology and Demography. Since April 2019, Chung has been serving as a Research Scientist in Demography and Survey Science at Meta. Previous roles include positions at The Shift Project as a researcher, at Public Rights Project as a consulting data scientist, and at Code for America as a consulting researcher. Chung also contributed to the Mind Heart Study at Yale School of Public Health as a researcher and consulting researcher, holding degrees from Amherst College (BA in Sociology), Yale School of Public Health (MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences), and the University of California, Berkeley (PhD in Demography and Sociology).
