Ann Petalas is currently the Associate General Counsel for Data Security at Meta. With a diverse legal background, they served as an Assistant United States Attorney for over a decade, handling complex cases in national security and organized crime. Prior to this, they held positions at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Baker Botts, and as a Senior Deputy Investigative Counsel at the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program. Ann earned a Doctor of Law degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
