Qian Guan

Qian Guan is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in statistics and computational mathematics. Qian has held various positions at Meta, initially starting as a Data Scientist and advancing to Staff Data Scientist, as well as a Senior Data Scientist role. Prior experience includes a Statistics Intern position at Eli Lilly and Company, where intelligent dosing algorithms were developed for diabetes management, and a Summer Intern role at Merck, focused on genetic variant research and method proposals for analysis. Qian also gained experience at PwC Hong Kong and China as a Senior Scientist intern and at MaxPoint as a Data Scientist Intern. Qian holds a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics and Accounting from Sun Yat-Sen University and a PhD in Statistics from North Carolina State University, achieving high academic honors.
