Qing Wang

Qing Wang is an accomplished optical engineer and manager with extensive experience in transceiver module design and optical testing. Currently serving as an Optical Engineering Manager at Meta since October 2023, Qing also holds a position as an Optical Engineer at Meta since May 2018. Previous roles include Senior Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer at Inphi Corporation, where responsibilities focused on transceiver module design. Prior to that, Qing worked as a Principal Optical Engineer and Staff Optical Engineer at Infinera, specializing in optical design verification testing, particularly for 100G optical line module calibration. In academic tenure as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa, research concentrated on microwave photonics, including microwave/millimeter-wave generation and ultra-wideband communication. Qing Wang earned a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University between 2000 and 2005.
