Quan Zhou has extensive experience in the fields of geophysics and software engineering, having served as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from September 2013 to May 2018, where Quan contributed to open-source code development for earth mantle convection and published results in prestigious journals. Quan also worked as a Teaching Assistant, instructing in Physical and Introduction to Geology labs. Following this, Quan held positions as a Software Engineer and Software Engineer II at Granular from June 2018 to October 2019, focusing on backend services for farm business management software. Currently, Quan is a Research Scientist at Meta, building on a solid educational foundation from holdings a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree from Wuhan University.
