Ramiro Calderon

Ramiro Calderon is a mechanical engineer with diverse experience in product design and development, particularly in the fields of healthcare technology and AR/VR wearables. Notable roles include serving as a Mechanical Lead at the University of Michigan Adult Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, where Ramiro contributed to a project focused on gamifying therapeutic treatments for patients with Systemic Scleroderma. As a Product Design Engineer Intern at Meta's Reality Labs, Ramiro worked on AR/VR wearable technology, and more recently, Ramiro holds a position as a Product Design Engineer at Meta. Prior experience includes internships and co-op positions at Verily Life Sciences, Augmental Tech, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Skie, where Ramiro developed skills in mechanical design, hardware engineering, and software tools for analytics and machine learning.
