Reza Rastegar

Reza Rastegar possesses extensive experience in engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence across various industries. As an Engineering Manager at National Oilwell Varco, Reza led an interdisciplinary team focused on data exploration and optimization. Reza's earlier roles included contributing to machine learning and pattern recognition at iPronto Systems, and later serving as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Tulsa, guiding AI education strategies. In leadership roles at Occidental, Reza established and directed advanced analytics and data science teams, delivering significant value to the organization. As CTO and Co-founder at Tergeo Technologies, Reza is driving innovative robotics solutions for urban cleaning. Currently, Reza is the Sr. Manager of Research Science at Meta, further enhancing expertise in AI and machine learning. Reza holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Iowa State University.
