Rob Abrams has an extensive background in law enforcement and research, beginning as a Senior Research Technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from September 2000 to July 2002, where immunohistochemistry research was conducted. Following this role, Rob served at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from August 2002 to November 2010, advancing from Special Agent to Supervisory Special Agent, managing various investigations and leading teams in forensic operations. Rob later became the HSI Deputy Attaché, responsible for investigative activities in Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, contributing significantly to initiatives combating human trafficking and child exploitation. Since March 2019, Rob has held the position of Head of Law Enforcement Outreach for Southeast Asia at Meta, where strategic engagements with law enforcement and national security agencies are led, along with consultation on legislation and collaboration with government officials. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan between 1996 and 2000.
