Rocky Jacob

Rocky Jacob is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Meta since August 2025, leading robotics product design initiatives. Concurrently, Rocky holds a position as a Guest Lecturer at ArtCenter College of Design and has been an Advisor since May 2020 and the Founding Team & Head of Design at Mill, a climate tech company focused on reducing food waste. Previously, Rocky served as the Director of Design at Lyft, where the first internal interaction design and industrial design teams were established. Other notable roles include Chief Product Officer at Rimowa under LVMH, Head of Design at Nest for Google, and Lead Designer at HTC, where significant contributions were made to brand evolution and product development. Earlier career experiences include freelance work at IDEO and a product designer role at IDENT Technology AG, complemented by a degree in product design from the University of Art and Design Offenbach.
