Roxane Tamas Wallis

Roxane Tamas Wallis is an experienced legal professional with a strong focus on data protection and IT law. Roxane began her career as an Associate in the Regulatory and Competition Law department at Field Fisher Waterhouse, before transitioning to various roles such as Associate in the IT and Criminal Law department, Associate General Counsel at Klöckner Pentaplast, and General Counsel at Polymateria. Notably, Roxane has served as General Counsel for Belgium & Luxembourg and Senior Legal Counsel at Atos, along with significant tenures as the Data Protection focal point at IBM Benelux. Roxane is currently an Associate General Counsel at Meta and has contributed to academia as an invited professor at Hogeschool Gent. Roxane holds multiple degrees in law, including a Master's in law from Université catholique de Louvain and an LL.M. in European Law from Universiteit Leiden, demonstrating a solid academic foundation complemented by professional excellence in legal advisory roles.
