Rui Shi

Rui Shi has extensive experience in software engineering and web development, having worked in prominent companies such as Uber and Meta. Rui began a career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas, where course materials were converted from VB to C# for the IT Toolkit course. At Consumer Testing Laboratories, Rui provided both front-end and back-end support in a Linux environment and developed a web-based data querying application. At J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Rui played a key role in designing the Carrier 360 web application and led a team to enhance its frontend using Angular. Rui’s early experience includes an internship at Fayettechill, focusing on website implementation and third-party solutions, and has a strong educational background with a Master’s in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas and a BS in Computer Sciences from East Tennessee State University.
