Machine Learning Engineer

Ruichen Wang is a machine learning engineer with extensive experience in the fields of machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. Wang began as a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2011 to December 2015, focusing on event extraction in Professor Dan Roth's research group. Following this, Wang worked as a machine learning engineer at Yahoo from January 2016 to June 2021, where leadership was demonstrated by founding and building a six-member machine learning team. Subsequently, Wang continued to excel in roles at Google and currently serves as a machine learning engineer at Meta, leading projects involving large language models and AI-powered ad ranking systems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Sun Yat-Sen University, followed by a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
