Ryan Moniz

Ryan Moniz possesses extensive experience in teaching, research, and data science across academic and industry settings. As a Teaching Assistant Coordinator at Stanford University, Ryan designed and executed seminar series for new teaching assistants and co-instructed a graduate-level course in Coastal Oceanography. As a Graduate Researcher, Ryan conducted advanced analytical processing and modeling related to coastal dynamics. Transitioning to Meta, Ryan held various managerial roles, including Data Science Manager for Business Messaging Experiences and Monetization, leading a global team focused on optimizing business communication across platforms. Ryan also has foundational engineering experience from internships at Dokken Engineering and CDM Smith. Ryan holds a Master's and PhD in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
