Sara Rasmussen

Sara Rasmussen is an experienced data scientist with a robust background in research and data analysis. At the Earth Policy Institute, Sara contributed to the research, data collection, and fact-checking for Lester Brown's book, "Full Planet, Empty Plates." Subsequent roles include serving as a Fellow at Insight Data Science, a Research Scientist at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and a Senior Data Scientist at Glossier, Inc. Sara advanced to the position of Data Science Manager at Better.com before joining Meta as a Data Scientist focused on Instagram. Sara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from The Johns Hopkins University, along with additional degrees and certificates from the same institution and Washington University in St. Louis.
