Scott Woltman is an experienced engineer with a strong background in optics and systems design. Woltman served as a Laser Engineer at Microvision, where significant contributions included leading technical communications with laser suppliers and integrating the world's first direct green lasers into prototype photonics modules. A Senior Staff Engineer at Microvision, Woltman leads a cross-functional team in the design and development of the 3rd generation PicoP® system. Scott has also held key positions at Microsoft as Senior HW Program Manager and Principal Systems Engineer for HoloLens, and is currently the Lead Display Architect for AR at Meta after serving as Director of XDO Architecture. Woltman has a Ph.D. in Physics from Brown University and a B.S. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
