Sean Chua

Sean Chua is an accomplished Data Scientist currently working at Meta since April 2025, focusing on supply chain analytics. Previously, Sean held the position of Data Scientist, Trust and Safety at TikTok from August 2021 to March 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing APAC Elections and driving data-driven policy development. Sean's earlier experience includes an internship at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where Sean contributed to an open-source machine learning project, as well as a role as Senior Data Analyst at Expedia Group, where automated solutions were developed for search engine marketing. Sean's professional journey began with a graduate trainee program at Google, followed by internships at Ubisoft Singapore and Orangebrush. Sean holds a Master of IT in Business with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management with a second major in Analytics, both from Singapore Management University.
