Shannon Rieger

Shannon Rieger is a skilled researcher and analyst with extensive experience in housing market issues, spatial analysis, and urban policy. At the Joint Center for Housing Studies, Shannon developed and published research projects, co-organized a symposium, and edited a volume on residential segregation. Previous roles include Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, Planning, Research, & Policy Analyst at The NIAM Group, and various internships focused on urban development and policy. Currently, Shannon serves as a User Experience Researcher at Meta while pursuing a PhD in Sociology at New York University. Educational qualifications include a Master's in City & Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution.
