Shashank Kedia

Shashank Kedia is a data science and machine learning professional with a diverse background in academia and industry. Kedia's experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Walmart Labs from July 2019 to May 2022, and as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where responsibilities included creating and grading assignments for a graduate course in Artificial Intelligence. Further academic pursuits involved projects in natural language processing and reinforcement learning. After serving as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, Kedia developed data warehousing solutions, and held a Software Developer Intern position at Salesforce focusing on data analytics. Most recently, Kedia progressed to a Staff Data Scientist role at Walmart Global Tech and is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. Kedia holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
