Shey Umar

Shey Umar is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently employed at Meta since May 2025, Shey has also worked at Sparrow as a software engineer from October 2023 to May 2025, and previously at Aura as a front-end engineer from July 2022 to June 2023. Prior to these positions, Shey contributed to Wayfair as a Software Engineer II and earlier held roles as a software engineer and web development teaching assistant at Harvard Business School for a brief period in February 2020. Shey began the professional journey as an application developer intern at ERT in July 2018 and gained experience as a core systems intern at Boston College in July 2017.
