Shrivats Iyer

Shrivats Iyer is a Senior Director of Data Science at Meta, where involvement includes supporting data scientists in the Sharing product group for Instagram and Threads since October 2016. Prior to this role at Meta, Shrivats served as a Data Science Director, focusing on Sharing products at both Instagram and Facebook for a total of six years, and also held the position of Data Science Manager. Earlier career experience includes a tenure at Stanford University from June 2010 to September 2016, where Shrivats worked as a Data Scientist, Data Science Manager, and PhD Student, developing neuromodulation techniques for pain and motor circuit control and publishing nine papers. Shrivats holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
